How to calculate age


There are a lot of methods used to calculate the age of a person online and manually. Try this easy and simple method to calculate your age at any particular date or at the current date.


Method 1


If the day and month of the current date or date on which age is required to be calculated are greater than the Date of Birth, then Write the Current Date and subtract the date of birth from the current month, It will be the age of a person. 

For Example

                                       Day    Month     Year

Current Date =                15   -   05     -   2020

              Minus      ( - )                   

Date of Birth =                10   -   02     -   1980

                                      ------------------------------

Age               =                 05   -   03     -    0040

 

Age is 40 years 3 months and 5 days

 

How to calculate age


Method 2


If the day and month of the current date or date on which age is required to be calculated are smaller than the Date of Birth then Write the Current Date and subtract the date of birth from the current month, It will be the age of a person. 

For Example

                                 Day   Month     Year

Current Date =          15   -   05     -   2020

             Minus   ( - )                   

Date of Birth =          23   -   08     -   1980

                              ------------------------------

 

 We know that

         1 Year     =  12  month

         1 month   =  30  days

 

Now subtract 1 year from the current year and add 12 months in the current date months, similarly subtract 1 month from the current months and add this month i.e. 30 days in the current day's date. Now current date will look like


                               Day      Month        Year

Current Date =         45    -   16       -   2019

     Minus          ( - )                   

Date of Birth =          23    -   08       -   1980

                              ------------------------------

Age                  =         22    -    08       -    0039

 

Now Age is 39 years 8 months and 22 days
